The initiative provides practical exposure to footwear manufacturing processes and workplace practices, helping participants gain valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience.
Participants may receive exposure to various stages of footwear manufacturing, including material preparation, cutting, upper stitching, lasting, finishing, quality inspection and production support activities.
Understanding footwear materials, components, inspection and preparation activities.
Exposure to cutting processes, patterns and production planning.
Learning stitching techniques, quality requirements and workflow practices.
Understanding shoe assembly and lasting operations.
Exposure to finishing procedures, packaging and presentation standards.
Learning quality checks, compliance requirements and product evaluation methods.
Participants are guided by experienced personnel and gain exposure to workplace discipline, teamwork, safety practices and manufacturing operations.
